Meet the Owners

1. Do you take credit cards?  Yes!  We take credit cards via paypal.

2. Do you provide passes to the Sunriver pools and tennis courts?  Yes!  We have 6 passes good for unlimited use of the pool and tennis courts. 

3. How do we get the keys?  There is a lockbox on the door to the house.  A few days before your arrival, the owners will email you instructions on how to get to the house and what the combination is to the lockbox.

4. Do you provide towels for the pool?  Yes!  We have numerous towels that can be used for the hot tub or the pool.  We do ask that you wash any of these towels before you leave.  The bath towels will be washed by the cleaning company.

5. Do you offer any discounts? Yes!  We offer a discount for a weeks rental (non-holiday): Stay 6 nights and get the 7th night free. 

6. Do you provide discounts for only 2 people?  No.  Our price stays the same no matter if it is one person or 7 people.

7. How many cars can park at the house?  One car can fit in the garage and two cars can fit in the driveway.  We can not accommodate more than 3 cars.

8. Can we bring more than 7 people to your home?  No.  The maximum number of people in the home is set at 7.  The home is just not equipped to handle more than 7 people.

9. What is required of us to check out of the house?  There is a list at the house of the requirements which include taking the garbage out and starting the dishwasher.  The cleaning company will come in after your stay to clean sheets and bath towels, put away the clean dishes and overall clean and vacuum the house.

10. Is the house air conditioned?  No it is not.  You really do not need air conditioning in central Oregon.  With the numerous windows in the house and portable fans and ceiling fans in both bedrooms, the air circulation provides enough cool air to be quite comfortable.  We use the home a lot for ourselves, and if we were uncomfortable with the heat, we'd have air conditioning by now!

11. How close are you to the railroad?  We are pretty close to the railroad and if you are outside you can definitely hear it.  It's a pretty muted sound inside, especially with the new windows we put in in Nov 2009.  We are far from any intersection with the road, so you never hear train whistles.  Sunriver had premium tracks put in to quiet the noise.  It's never woken us up.  Kids actually love being able to watch the train go by during the day!

12. What chemicals are used in your hot tub?  Is it serviced regularly?  Chlorine and lots of it. The hot tub is serviced between every renter to the health department standards for vacation rental homes.

13. Do you have a phone at the house?  No, we do not as we found most renters used their cell phones.  We do have high speed cable Internet.

14. Do you allow pets?  Yes!  But only dogs and no more than 1 dog per visit.
