Your vacation is your time to relax and
escape the hectic lives we all live. To that end, a good nights sleep
is paramount to enjoying your vacation. Both bedrooms have mattresses
that are only a few years old. Both beds have foam egg crates and mattress
pads. The sheets are 400 thread count, 100% cotton sheets. Lamps
are provided on both sides of the bed, so you can enjoy reading in bed.
The River
Room
The master bedroom is decorated after the beautiful Deschutes River which
flows through the town of Sunriver. We've decorated this room in cool
blue colors with river pictures on the walls. We have a water fountain
and several kids and adult books on rivers. There is a TV and DVD
Player, dresser, 2 nightstands, lamps, and alarm clock. There is an
overhead ceiling fan and a portable fan. The dresser was added in
early 2008 and was made by our Sunriver Rustic furniture makers.

The Volcano
Room
The volcano room is decorated after
the many volcanoes in the Central Oregon and Northwest area of the United
States. The room is decorated with volcano pictures, lava lamp and
books on volcanoes for both kids and adults. There is a queen size
bed, reading lamps, alarm clock, TV, VCR, overhead ceiling fan and portable fan.
A new dresser was added in April 2008.
Bathrooms
Butternut Retreat has 2 bathrooms.
The master bath is connected to the master bedroom. There is a shower,
toilet and sink in this bathroom (1st picture on the left). The second
bathroom has a tub, shower, sink and toilet (2 pictures on the right).
There is a door in the 2nd bathroom that leads to the deck and hot tub.
The towels are all new, large and fluffy 100% cotton towels. We
provide a hair dryer in the master bath.
