Deposit & Payment
To secure your
reservation we require the $250 security deposit and a signed rental agreement. We must have your deposit
money before we can hold your time frame.
60 days before your
stay, 50% of the rental amount is due. The balance of the rental fee
is payable 30 days in advance of your stay.
The security deposit
will be refunded in full within 2 weeks of your stay assuming that no damage has
been done to the house. If you do not follow the rental instructions provided
on this website and the information sheet in the house, you will be subject to
forfeiture of some or all of your security deposit (i.e. forgetting to lock the
house, leaving the heat on high, turning the heat off entirely, etc.).
Rental amount is
payable either by personal check or with credit card via paypal.
Cleaning Service
A laundry and cleaning
service is included at departure. This service is required and covers vacuuming
carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, washing towels and
sheets and cleaning the kitchen. The cleaning service covers "normal wear". It
does not cover excessive or negligent wear.
Cancellations
Cancellations are fully
refundable if cancelled 60 days or more prior to the date your rental was to
begin. Cancellations made between 30-60 days in advance will receive a 50%
refund off the total rental amount. Cancellations made less than 30 days in advance receive no refund. If
you cancel and we are able to rent the house you will receive a refund for
whichever days we are able to rent.
There are no refunds due to weather.
Other Rules
If we determine that a
pet was in the house without paying the pet fee, the pet fee will be taken out
of your security deposit.
Smoking in the house is
not permitted. If we determine that you smoked in the house, you will forfeit
all of your security deposit.
Lost keys are subject to a
$40 replacement fee.
